Ana has run her successful cookery school in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for the last 16 years, the internationally renowned Lazat Cooking, rated by Gourmet Magazine in 2009 as the best cooking school on the planet.


Now based in the UK Ana is running cookery schools right here in Manchester for Tampopo!

You’ll learn how to make the following mouth-watering, show-stopping Malaysian dishes:

  • Chicken Satay
  • Nasi Goreng
  • Fresh Malaysian Salad

Your three-hour class includes:

  • a welcome Vietnamese coffee (or other soft drink of your choice) with churros and caramel sauce on arrival
  • a delicious 3 course lunch with a soft drink of your choice
  • a souvenir Tampopo apron
  • A soft copy of all the recipes so you can recreate the dishes at home.

It goes without saying that you’ll be in expert hands. When it comes to real-deal East Asian street food, Tampopo’s team are second-to-none. Authenticity is our watchword.

We have a fully stocked bar to purchase drinks from after cooking has finished - once the gas burners have been put away!

Omnivores, vegetarians and vegans welcome – please indicate dietary requirements when booking. Certain ingredients are so prevalent in Asian cooking – and in our kitchens – that we cannot guarantee that there’ll be no traces of them at your session. These include gluten, peanuts, sesame and soy. Over 16s only. For operational reasons the dishes prepared may be subject to change and the course may be hosted by an alternative presenter. A Tampopo Cookery School booking is not exchangeable for cash, or valid with any other offers.
