We know how to wow taste buds, East Asian-style – and we’ll share the closely guarded secrets with you.  

At Tampopo Cookery School, you’ll learn how to make the following mouth-watering, show-stopping East Asian dishes such as:

• Vietnamese Summer Rolls
• Corn Fritters
• Pad Thai

It goes without saying that you’ll be in expert hands. When it comes to real-deal East Asian street food, Tampopo’s team are second-to-none. Authenticity is our watchword. That’s why, in 2019, we flew all of our general managers and head chefs out to Bangkok to experience Thai cooking in its purest and most potent form. Short of taking an 11-hour flight, Tampopo Cookery School is as close as you can get to learning East Asian cooking from its originators. 

“I spent many years travelling South East Asia, attending cooking schools from Bali to Bangkok,” says Tampopo founder David Fox. “I’ve made it my life’s work to bring these incredible recipes back to the UK. The food from this region is all about serious freshness and heady, evocative flavours. I’m delighted that we can teach you how to recreate the magic at home.”

Each Tampopo Cookery School session costs £65. A welcome drink and lunch is included, and all the equipment you need will be provided.

Aprons are provided. 

Omnivores, vegetarians and vegans welcome – please indicate dietary requirements when booking. 

Social distancing measures will be in place. 

Certain ingredients are so prevalent in Asian cooking – and in our kitchens – that we cannot guarantee that there’ll be no traces of them at your session. These include gluten, peanuts, sesame and soy.

For operational reasons the dishes prepared may be subject to change and the course may be hosted by an alternative presenter.
